While MaybeMOM is designed to monitor ovulation and help establish best time to practice abstinence if you are trying to avoid pregnancy, please note: MaybeMOM is not a contraception device, and should not be used to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. While MaybeMOM has been used in Europe as device to aid contraception, it is not yet cleared by FDA to be used for contraception in the United States. You absolutely must consult with your doctor if you plan to concieve or require contraception.
