The advantage of using MaybeMOM versus the Basal Thermometer is that with using MaybeMOM you are able to be more accurate with determining a woman's ovulation day. By using the Basal Thermometer method the peak temperature is only seen after the ovulation. The use of the Basal Thermometer method must be performed at a specific and designated time each morning. Its accuracy can be altered due to irregularity in a woman's sleeping patterns and other factors.
